Concerning the Technical Rules for Efficient Energy Consumption for Electric Motors in the United Arab Emirates
The Cabinet, ‒ Having reviewed the Constitution; and ‒ Federal Decree-Law No. (20) of 2020, Concerning Standards and Metrology; and ‒ Based upon the proposal submitted by the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and the Cabinet’s approval, Resolved:
The Technical Regulation for Energy Efficient for Electric Motors, whose number and title are identified in the schedule annexed to this Resolution, shall be considered a mandatory technical regulation in the United Arab Emirates.
All concerned authorities, existing at the time of enforcement of this Resolution, shall adjust their statuses to comply with its provisions within (365) Three Hundred Sixty-Five days as of its date of enforcement.
Arab Emirates
This Resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall come into force as of the day following its date of publication.
