Approving Mandatory Technical Rules in the Food and Agriculture and Oil and Gas Sectors in the United Arab Emirates

The Cabinet, ‒ Having reviewed the Constitution; and ‒ Federal Law No. (1) of 1972, Concerning the Competences of Ministries and Capacities of Ministers, and its amendments thereof; and ‒ Federal Decree-Law No. (20) of 2020, Concerning Standards and Metrology; and ‒ Based upon the proposal submitted by the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, and the Cabinet’s approval, Resolved:

  1. The Technical Regulations, whose numbers and titles designated in the schedule annexed to this Resolutions, shall be deemed as technical regulations of mandatory application in the United Arab Emirates.

  2. All concerned authorities, existing at the time of enforcement of this Resolution, shall amend its status to comply with its provisions within (180) One Hundred Eighty days after its enforcement.

  3. This Resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall come into force as of the day following its publication date.
