Закон № (18) от 2023 года об изменении Закона № (15) от 2021 года об учреждении Совета Дубая по безопасности пограничных переходов

المادة 1

Article (2) of the above-mentioned Law No. (15) of 2021 is hereby superseded by the following: Definitions Article (2) The following words and expressions, wherever mentioned in this Law, will have the meaning indicated opposite each of them unless the context implies otherwise: UAE: The United Arab Emirates. Emirate: The Emirate of Dubai. Ruler: His Highness the Ruler of Dubai. Government: The Government of Dubai. Executive Council: The Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai. ICP: The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security established pursuant to the above-mentioned Federal Law by Decree No. (14) of 2021. Ports of Entry: Any Border entry point within the Emirate, including land entry points, seaports, and airports. Borders: The borders of the Emirate, including the land and maritime borders and airspace boundaries of the Emirate. Government Entity: Any of the Government departments; public agencies and corporations; councils; authorities, including the authorities supervising Special Development Zones and free zones, such as the Dubai International Financial Centre; or other public entities affiliated to the Government. DCSPEB: The Dubai Council for the Security of Ports of Entry and Borders, established pursuant to this Law. Chairman: The chairman of the DCSPEB. Member: A member of the DCSPEB. General Secretariat: The general secretariat of the DCSPEB. Secretary General: The secretary general of the DCSPEB.

المادة 2

The phrase “Border Crossing Points”, wherever mentioned in the above-mentioned Law No. (15) of 2021 and in any other legislation in force in the Emirate of Dubai, is hereby replaced by the phrase “Ports of Entry and Borders.”

المادة 3

This Law will be published in the Official Gazette and will come into force on the day on which it is published.
