Concerning the Tutoring Fees for the Quran Memorization Service at Quran Memorization Centers and Sessions
The Cabinet,
- Having reviewed the Constitution; and
- Federal Law No. (2) of 2024, Concerning the General Authority for Islamic, Endowments, and Zakat Affairs; and
- Federal Decree-Law No. (26) of 2019, Concerning Public Finance, and its amendments thereof; and
- Based upon the proposal submitted by the Minister of Finance and the Cabinet’s approval, Resolved:
Fees
1. In return for the services provided by the General Authority for Islamic, Endowments, and Zakat Affairs at the Quran Memorization Centers and Sessions – which are identified in the below schedule – the fees designated next to each service shall be collected.
2. The fees for the Quran Memorization services shall be applicable to non-citizens beneficiaries, including non-citizens who have been affiliated to the Quran Memorization Centers and Sessions by the government or private authorities. Registration to memorize and learn the Holy Quran Sciences remotely through the Smart Platform for Quran Education 200 For 1 individual/semester Registration to memorize and learn the Holy Quran Sciences during the Summer semester 200 For 1 individual 4 Individual memorization 200 Monthly (average of 2 sessions per week)
Exemptions Children of female citizens and citizens of GCC Countries shall be exempted from paying the fees of services referred to in Article (1) of this Resolution.
Fees Collection The fees stipulated in this Resolution shall be collected via the means determined by the Ministry of Finance.
Executive Resolutions The chairman of the General Authority for Islamic, Endowments and Zakat Affairs shall issue the executive resolutions necessary for the implementation of this Resolution.
Federal Cabinet Resolution of 2024 Concerning the Tutoring Fees for the Quran Memorization Service at Quran Memorization Centers and Sessions
Repeals Any provision conflicting or contradicting with this Resolution shall be repealed.
Publication and Enforcement This Resolution shall be published in the official gazette and shall come into force as of the day following its date of publication.
