What we do
uaelaw.ai answers everyday legal questions in plain English or Arabic, grounded in current UAE law. Every answer cites the specific law, decree or article it relies on. The most-asked questions get an editorial review pass before being indexed publicly, with lawyer review coming as partner firms onboard.
We are not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice. For advice on your specific situation, talk to a UAE-licensed lawyer — you can leave a referral request and we will pass it to a partner firm as firms come on board.
How it works
- You ask. Type a question in plain English or Arabic. Personal details (names, phone numbers, IDs) are automatically redacted before processing.
- We retrieve. Our system searches the UAE legal corpus — federal laws, emirate-level regulations, gazette circulars — and finds the relevant articles.
- We answer. An AI synthesizes a clear, cited response. Every claim is linked to a specific article number you can verify.
- Lawyers review. When the same question is asked by multiple users, a partner law firm reviews the answer. Once approved, the answer is indexed publicly with the reviewer's byline.
- Need more? Leave a lawyer-referral request and we will pass it to a partner firm specialising in your matter as firms come on board.
Our three publishing tiers
Every answer carries a tier badge so you know how much human review it has had:
- Tier A — AI-only, shown live to the asking user, not indexed by search engines. Treat as a starting point.
- Tier B (Provisional) — Promoted after multiple users ask the same question. Public, with full review still pending.
- Tier C (Reviewed) — Editorially reviewed and approved, with lawyer review coming as partner firms onboard. Indexed publicly with the reviewer's byline and date.
Who runs this
uaelaw.ai is operated by Avangate Hospitality Services FZE, a UAE free zone establishment. The platform is built on a transparent technology stack: Next.js on Vercel, Supabase Postgres with row-level security, Anthropic Claude for synthesis, and Voyage AI for legal-domain embeddings.
Our partner law firms act as independent reviewers. They are paid via a transparent revenue-share model when users they accept lead-routed consultations from. Their independence is essential: the value of this platform depends on lawyer review being honest, not rubber-stamped.
What we promise
- Free public access to legal information, no paywall.
- Every answer cites real UAE law you can verify; we never invent law numbers.
- Your private questions stay private. We do not sell, share, or train AI models on your personal questions.
- When the law changes, affected answers are flagged for re-review and removed from public indexing until verified.
- We will tell you when AI is being used, when a lawyer reviewed an answer, and when an answer is provisional.
