What is uaelaw.ai?
A free public legal information platform for the UAE. AI generates answers grounded in current UAE law; lawyers review the most-asked ones and stamp them with their byline. The whole library is searchable, cited, and free to read.
How do I ask a good question?
- Be specific. "How is gratuity calculated under UAE Labour Law?" works better than "What about my final settlement?".
- Mention the emirate if it matters (e.g., Dubai tenancy law differs from Sharjah or Abu Dhabi).
- Plain English or Arabic. No legalese needed. The system handles both.
- Don't share personal IDs. The system auto-redacts emails, phone numbers, Emirates IDs, passport numbers and trade licences before processing — but it's safer not to include them.
What do the tier badges mean?
- Tier A — AI-only, shown live to the asking user. Not indexed, not visible to others.
- Tier B (Provisional) — Promoted after multiple users asked the same question. Public, but no lawyer review yet.
- Tier C (Lawyer-reviewed) — Reviewed and approved by a UAE-licensed lawyer. Indexed by search engines, byline visible.
When should I talk to a lawyer?
Always for: criminal matters, active disputes, court filings, settlement decisions, personal status (marriage / divorce / inheritance), and anything where the wrong move costs money or freedom.
Use the "Talk to a UAE-licensed lawyer" button on any Tier B/C answer page — we route you to a sponsoring law firm that matches your category and emirate. They typically respond within 48 hours.
Are the answers always right?
No. Every answer carries a confidence level (the tier badge) and includes citations you can verify against the source law. The system rejects answers it can't cite. But laws change, and AI can be wrong. Treat answers as a strong starting point — confirm anything you'll act on with a qualified lawyer.

Do you sell my data?

I found a wrong answer. What do I do?
Use the 👎 "Not helpful" button on the answer to flag it, and email legal@uaelaw.ai with the URL and a brief note. Tier B/C answers go back into the review queue when flagged.
