المادة 1
The words and expressions mentioned in this Resolution will have the same meaning assigned to them in the above-mentioned Law No. (18) of 2024. The term “Agency”, wherever mentioned in this Resolution, means the Waste and Sewerage Agency of the Dubai Municipality.

a. Pursuant to this Resolution, the following Technical Guidelines are approved: 1. Technical Guidelines for the Evaluation and Classification of Waste Collection and Transportation Establishments; 2. Technical Guidelines for the Evaluation and Classification of Waste Trading Establishments; and 3. Technical Guidelines for the Evaluation and Classification of Waste Treatment and Recycling Establishments. b. The Technical Guidelines referred to in paragraph (a) of this Article, including the technical requirements, conditions, and standards set forth therein, as well as any subsequent updates or amendments thereto, will be published on the DM’s official website.
المادة 3
The Agency will be responsible for periodically reviewing the Technical Guidelines approved hereunder, and updating or amending them where required. These updates and amendments must be published on the DM’s official website following approval by the Agency’s Chief Executive Officer.
المادة 4
All Establishments authorised by the DM to conduct any of the Waste-related activities in the Emirate must comply with, and take the necessary actions to implement, the Technical Guidelines approved hereunder, as published on the DM’s official website, including any updates or amendments thereto from time to time.
المادة 5
All Establishments authorised by the DM to conduct any of the Waste-related activities in the Emirate must comply with the provisions of this Resolutions within six (6) months from the date on which it comes into force. The Chief Executive Officer of the Agency may, where required, extend this grace period once for the same period.
المادة 6
Any provision in any other administrative resolutions, guidelines, or instructions is hereby repealed to the extent that it contradicts the provisions of this Resolution or the Technical Guidelines approved hereunder.
المادة 7
This Resolution will be published in the Official Gazette and will come into force on the day on which it is published.
