Extension Law for Nationals of the GCC Countries Working Outside of their Countries in Any of the Other GCC Countries
Concerning the Executive Rules for Implementing the Provisions of the Insurance Protection Extension Law for Nationals of the GCC Countries Working Outside of their Countries in Any of the Other GCC Countries
The Cabinet: − Upon reviewing the Constitution; − Federal Law by Decree No. (57) of 2023 Promulgating Pensions and Social Security; − The Cabinet (Decision No. (18) of 2007) shall establish the Executive Rules for applying the provisions of the Insurance Protection Extension Law to GCC Nationals Working Outside their Countries in any of the other GCC Countries; − Based on the proposal of the Finance and the approval of the Cabinet. Has resolved the following:
The Insurance Protection Extension Law issued pursuant to Cabinet Resolution No. (18) of 2007 concerning the Executive Rules for implementing the provisions of the Insurance Protection Extension Law referred to shall apply to Nationals of the GCC Countries working in the State, and to Nationals of the State work for any of the GCC Countries, who are subject to the provisions of Federal Decree by Law No. (57) of 2023 concerning Pensions and Social Security.
The Employer share shall be considered as (15%) of the subscription calculation salary for Nationals of the GCC Countries working in the private sector in the State, or in accordance with the share in effect in those countries, whichever is less.
Extension Law for Nationals of the GCC Countries Working Outside of their Countries in Any of the Other GCC Countries
This Resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall enter into force as of the day following the date of its publication.
