Decree No. (16) of 2022 Concerning the Dubai Expo 2020 Office

المادة 1

As of the effective date of this Law and for a period of six (6) months thereafter, the Preparatory Committee; the Dubai Expo 2020 Office established pursuant to the above-mentioned Decree No. (30) of 2014; and the Director General of the Dubai Expo 2020 Office appointed pursuant to the above-mentioned Decree No. (31) of 2014, will continue to exercise their duties and powers under the legislation in force in the Emirate as well as any other duties or powers assigned to them by the Ruler or the Chairman of the Executive Council.

المادة 2

The period referred to in Article (1) hereof is renewable for the same period pursuant to a resolution of the Chairman of the Executive Council issued upon the recommendation of the Chairman of the Preparatory Committee.

المادة 3

The Chairman of the Preparatory Committee may determine the sub-committees whose tenure is required to continue for the period referred to in Article (1) of this Decree, or for any renewable period thereof.

المادة 4

This Decree comes into force on the day on which it is issued, and will be published in the Official Gazette.
