Decree No. (18) of 2015 Amending Decree No. (13) of 1997 Establishing the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charity and Humanitarian Establishment

Articles (5) and (6) of the above-mentioned Decree No. (13) of 1997 are hereby superseded by the following: Board of Trustees Article (5) The MBRCHE will be supervised by a Board of Trustees comprised of a chairman, a vice chairman, and a number of experienced and competent members appointed pursuant to a resolution issued by the Ruler. The Board of Trustees will be appointed for a renewable term of three (3) years. Functions of the Board of Trustees Article (6) The Board of Trustees will have the duties and powers to: 1. approve the general policy and annual plans of the MBRCHE in light of its specified objectives; 2. approve the charter of the MBRCHE and submit the same to the Ruler for final approval; 3. approve the administrative and financial bylaws regulating the work of the MBRCHE; 4. appoint the director general of the MBRCHE; and 5. perform any other duties required for the achievement of the objectives of the MBRCHE.

This Decree comes into force on the day on which it is issued, and will be published in the Official Gazette.
