Decree No. (31) of 2024 Forming the Board of Trustees of the UAE Water Aid Foundation (Suqia)

المادة 1

a. The Board of Trustees of Suqia is hereby formed under the chairmanship of the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of DEWA, and with the membership of: 1. a representative from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; 2. a representative from the UAE Red Crescent Authority; 3. a representative from the United Arab Emirates University; 4. a representative from Khalifa University of Science, Technology, and Research; 5. three (3) representatives from DEWA; and 6. the Chief Executive Officer of Suqia. b. The representatives of the entities referred to in paragraph (a) of this Article will be nominated by the officials in charge of these entities, and must be holders of senior positions in grades that are not lower than the ‘executive director/ chief executive officer’ grade or similar grades.

This Decree comes into force on the day on which it is issued, and will be published in the Official Gazette.
