Executive Council Resolution No. (12) of 2020 Approving the Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct of Dubai Government Employees

المادة 1

Pursuant to this Resolution, the attached Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct of Dubai Government Employees (the “Code”), inclusive of the values, principles, and obligations stipulated therein, is approved.

المادة 2

a. All Employees and officials in charge of Government Entities in the Emirate of Dubai, who are in service on the effective date of this Resolution, and those to be appointed after the commencement hereof, must sign an undertaking to fully comply with the attached Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct of Dubai Government Employees. A copy of this undertaking must be kept in each Employee's file. b. An Employee who is proven to have violated the attached Code will be subject to disciplinary action.

المادة 3

All Government Entities in the Emirate must take the necessary action to implement the attached Code; and to circulate it and make it accessible to all Employees, and internal and external clients, to act in accordance therewith.

المادة 4

This Resolution will be published in the Official Gazette and will come into force on the day on which it is published.
