    This Law will be cited as “Law No. (6) of 2005 Regulating the Dubai Courts”.

The Director will also exercise any powers delegated to him by the President.

    The deputy director will be appointed from among judges pursuant to a decree of the Ruler. The Courts will be comprised of the following departments: 1. the Financial and Administrative Affairs Department; 2. the Technical Department; 3. the Information Technology Department; 4. the Notary Public Department; and 5. the Lawyers Affairs Department. The President may, at his own discretion, establish any other departments. b. The departments of the Courts will report to the Director, and will perform their work under his supervision. c. The President will issue the regulations and bylaws determining the functions of the departments and sections of the Courts and regulating their work.

    This Law will be published in the Official Gazette and will come into force on the day on which it is issued.
