المادة 1
A fixed fee of ten percent (10%) of the total entry ticket sales will be imposed on the cinemas operating in the Emirate of Dubai. This fee will be regularly collected on a monthly basis, and will be paid to the Dubai Municipality.
المادة 2
Dubai Municipality Council Resolution No. (6) Imposing a Fee on the Sale of Cinema Tickets in the Emirate of Dubai, issued on 5 April 1961, is hereby repealed. All cinema entry fees and movie screening fees applicable by the effective date of this Order are hereby cancelled.
المادة 3
Without prejudice to any stricter penalty stipulated in any law or other local order, any person who violates the provisions of this Order or its implementing bylaw will be punished by one or more of the following penalties: 1. a fine of not less than two thousand dirhams (AED 2,000.00) and not more than ten thousand dirhams (AED 10,000.00); and/ or 2. temporary or permanent closure of the cinema, and revocation of its licence.

The Director General of the Dubai Municipality will issue any resolutions or instructions required for the implementation of this Order.

This Order will be published in the Official Gazette and will come into force on the first day of the month following its issuance.
