Order Concerning Compliance with Environment Protection Legislation in the Emirate of Dubai

المادة 1

The authorities, public corporations, companies, and industrial establishments existing, or to be established, in Jebel Ali Industrial Area and its surrounding areas must, in implementing their projects or conducting their activities and operations, comply with the standards, rules, and regulations for the preservation of the environment and prevention of pollution prescribed by the environmental protection legislation in force in the Emirate of Dubai; and with the relevant instructions issued to them by the Environment Department of the Dubai Municipality.

المادة 2

The Director General of the Dubai Municipality is hereby assigned the duty of informing Us of the names of the entities that fail to comply with this Order, or to promptly cooperate with the Dubai Municipality in implementing the provisions of the legislation referred to in the preceding Article.

المادة 3

This Order comes into force on the day on which it is issued, and will be published in the Official Gazette.
